The study indicates that In a study with 469 women participating in a pregnancy cohort study, vitamin D levels below 20 nmol/L were associated with a 34 per cent increase in the prevalence of bacterial vaginosis compared to women with vitamin D levels over 80 nmol/L.Which basically means that low levels (25-30 is considered normal) that in the study group, there was a 34% increased likelyhood of having the vaginosis. I don't know about you, but I expect that many expecting mothers should be taking adequate vitamin D.

What to Expect With a Little More Vitamin D
This morning I was reading an update on a recent study that links low serum vitamin D with an increased incidence of bacterial vaginosis, which is a relatively common concern for women.
